Default [IBC] Swen Worm

Hi,

I too have received these Microsoft type emails. I am a member of two Bonsai groups, each with a differing email. Only this email, linked to the IBC receives these attacks. I am not saying it is related to the IBC, but perhaps our emails were mined from th
is list. I do not pretend to understand how this occurs or if it does, but I thought it worth a mention that it 'may' be linked to this list.

Jay

So have I. My Norton anti-virus software intercepts the attachment and says
that the virus called

Worm.Autonet.AHB

is present. I've set the AV email checker to delete any attachment that appears
to have a virus. I've also alerted Microsoft about this (as have several million
others, I suppose).

I've been getting a lot of spam from Microsoft today. This raised my

suspicions and
I checked at
http://ciac.llnl.gov/ciac/ and found the following warning. I
haven't
sent this type of warning before, but I hope some of you will not fall victim

to
this latest worm, since it looks quasi-official by posing as being from

Microsoft.
