Default [IBC] *** Thanksgiving (was: [IBC] winter care)

I find this discussion of winter interesting. I have always
lived where the
winters were mild. (Central Florida and Southern California)

except for two
winters as a child in coastal North Carolina.
I don't do cold or snow.
For Thanksgiving I am heading further south to the Ft.

Lauderdale area.

Billy on the Florida Space Coast

Winters are pretty mild -- relatively speaking -- in North
Carolina, too, Billy, though I love the empty beach off
Salterpath at Thanksgiving time.

I'm going south, too -- to St. Pete Beach and the grandkids. ;-)
(And 55 other relatives!) But I think a cold, wet front is gonna
follow us down, Billy.

Anyway, happy Thanksgiving to all (I know, you Canadians have
been there and done that already ;-) and the rest of you
non-North Americans scarcely know what we're talking about.

But Happy Thanksgiving anyway. ;-)
