Default [IBC] Foliar Feeding Recipe

Finally the weekend approaches, then it's off to New Hope PA!

In the meantime, does anybody have a basic recipe for a foliar feeding
fertilzer? I don't know why I'm having trouble finding one, maybe today's
not my day. Thanks everyone, hope your week has gone well.

Justin

Justin: Foliar feeding is at best inefficient. It is the
function of roots to absorb nutrients, not foliage.

I was gonna say that, but people keep insisting that foliar
feeding is a valuable addition to growing bonsai, and I didn't
feel like an argument. ;-)

Anyway, it isn't of any benefit . . . and before someone points
it out, I know that some fertilizer manufacturers recommend it.
But then, they're more interested in growing sales than plants.

And, I suspect that the oft-reported benefits of foliar feeding
come from the fertilizer that drips from the leaves onto the
soil -- which is where it's supposed to go, neh? So let's put it
there first.
