Default [IBC] Height

Well, considering there are bonsai that are 1" tall, and that there are some
that are 5' tall, I guess yours fall right in the middle zone ;-)

There is no "right" size for bonsai, it all depends on the tree you have,
and what you like to grow.

Well, considering there are bonsai that are 1" tall, and that there are some
that are 5' tall, I guess yours fall right in the middle zone ;-)

With time you'll develop a preference. I certainly have, although my trees range
in height (not counting the pot) from 4" up to over 3 feet. I tend to like the big
ones with fat trunks. Many of my trees in development will be in the 2.5-3 foot
range.

One factor to take into account is leaf size. If you have a tree that has leaves
that don't reduce in size, a bigger tree will be better.
