I just picked up Lisa Tajima's book on Pop Bonsai.
Seems she has studied the traditional bonsai for a
number of years and that she is being recognized by
the Japanese bonsai world, even having won some
awards.

So the next time you wonder if something is
appropriate go to www.popbonsai.com and ask "What
would Lisa do?"
