bonsai pruning
hi there! i bought a serrissa foetida last december. wen it arrived it
looked beautifully pruned and pretty but now its got pretty messy and is starting to loose its intended shape. due to it being under a fluro light some of the shoots have gota bit spindly and have grown right up to the light, i really want to tidy the tree up and give it a good prune. is there any tips i need to know. a hav a bonsai book wich gives me the basics but gives no indication of tools so im not sure what to buy, do i just use small garden sheers? any help would be greatly appreciated before my bonsai starts looking more like a messy shrub than a tree! thanks! |
