Default flourish trace vs iron vs excel?

Hi all

more newbie questions.. I apologize if I'm pestering everybody with trivial
questions... (in hopes of not killing off too many plants along the way..)

I just bought some flourish... and from reading the posts, it seems like
many of the plants I would be getting requires lots of iron... (amazon
swords, crypts, apongetons, etc)

I've been trying to decide what other goodies I should get for the plants...
and am a bit confused between the merits of getting flourish trace vs
flourish iron vs flourish excel...

can somebody break the three choices down to why you want to use which
product, and how I would know which to get? (like, do I need to buy iron
tester? etc?)

It's not a "one or the other" thing. The various seachem products
compliment each other. Flourish provides the micro-nutrients,
including some iron, but not enough iron in most cases. Flourish iron
doesn't provide any of the other needed traces, just the iron. So,
Flourish Iron + Flourish = all micro nutrients should be good.

Flourish Excel is a source of carbon. It might be beneficial if you
are not injecting CO2. It doesn't completely replace CO2 injection,
but it can improve growth if you can't/won't do CO2 injection.

So would TMG be the equivalent of SeaChem Flourish and Flourish Iron?

Yes, and I prefer using TMG, because I feel it gives me the iron and
other traces in the right proportion.

I just learned that it's Tropica MasterGrow. Do a quick search on google
for it.. Has anyone purchased this online? If so, where?

Big Al's seems to have the best price on-line for the 500ml bottle,
which was going for $10.99 when I ordered some today.

Would it make a difference if i added seachem iron tabs into gravel instead
of flourish iron in liquid form?
I am already doing flourish but my plants are suffering from lack of iron,
yellowish minute leaves on amazon sword.
