opinions on Micro sword (lilaeopsis)
Hi! I'm planning to buy some Micro sword or lilaeopsis grass plants. I need
a forground grass-type plant that will cover my gravel in a nice lawn. What are some of the tips for keeping it growing well and propagation? I also keep a couple bronze corys and yoyo loaches...would I have to keep these guys away from digging the stuff up till it rooted well? My aquarium has 4 wpg and roughly 25-30 ppm of C02 with flourite as a substrate. Thanx for any opinions on this stuff!! Dave. |

You don't mention tank depth, which is also relevant to light levels.
Anyway, I'd still say that you have enough light; I find the small swords to be high-light plants. B In article wQBqc.20985$0e6.2960@clgrps13, "Dave M. You definitely have enough light. Micro swords are somewhat very soft, and get uprooted very easily when just planted. But they grow like grass on field once they gain a foothold, by producing lots of runners. Cheers Kenneth "Dave M. Picklyk" ¦b¶l¥ó news:sZcrc.1716$gx1.828@clgrps12 ¤¤¼¶¼g...
