Zinnia angustifolia

I've grown these annuals for years now and they are one of my reliable
favorites. They do very well direct sown, in this case into pots. They
tolerate summer heat and drought and start blooming in August when
most other stuff is getting tired. The individual flowers are small,
but there are so many of them that they can produce a nice effect even
from far away.
