A small plant in a 3" pot, leaves are about 2" long & width about 1/2"

Don't take my word for it, but it looks very much like what we call "lamb's
tongue" plant.
Perhaps if you Google it, it may give you more info.

I agree - it looks very like Stachys byzantina [lamb's lugs], though the flower spike seems a bit off. Here is a link to images. http://images.google.com/images?hl=e...-8&sa=N&tab=wi
