Is that mistletoe growing up the trunks of the trees also ? If so, I
have never seen mistletoe grow like that. Only in round shaped clumps
near the tops of trees.

No, the plants that look like mistletoe are mistletoe. There's ivy
(Hedera helix) growing up the trunks but you'd expect that...
