fastest growing trees?
You tell him, Iris.
This question is repeatedly asked and the answer is always the same. The fastest growing trees are extremely weedy and are far more trouble than they are worth. Maybe this should be a FAQ? Iris Cohen wrote in message ... Unfortunately, the fastest growing trees are also the shortest lived, weedy, & have weak wood, so you are always picking up broken dead branches. Have patience. Some of the maples, not the overused Norway or silver maple, are reasonably fast growing. You will be happier in the long run with good quality trees, even if fewer of them. Ask your local extension agent. Iris, Central NY, Zone 5a, Sunset Zone 40 "If we see light at the end of the tunnel, It's the light of the oncoming train." Robert Lowell (1917-1977) |
