Dogwood Tree Leaves
I have a dogwood tree in my yard that is a few years old (approx 5-6).
It seems that it doesn't want to loose all it's leaves in the fall and come spring there are still some dead one's on there, is this normal? I can see that it is starting to bud so should I cut the dead leaves off or leave the alone??? Any advice is appreciated. |

Dogwood Tree Leaves
Some trees do this when they are young, like members of the beech family(oak,
beech, chestnut). I just got my shipment of b+b dogwoods and one of the varieties still had most of the dead leaves on them, so it may depend on cultivar as well. Toad |

The new leaves will push them off. Iris, Central NY, Zone 5a, Sunset Zone 40 "If we see light at the end of the tunnel, It's the light of the oncoming train." Robert Lowell (1917-1977) |
