Default Opinions Please... Johh Deere 425 vs. Simplicity Legacy

Hi,

Well... I've got a chance to buy:
a Simplicity Legacy (50 hours with 25 hp Kohler air cooled engine),
about 1.5 years old with tiller, 60" hydraulic blade and 60" mower
with about a year's warranty left or:
a 1995 John Deere 425 (250 hours with 25 hp Kawasaki liquid cooled
engine) with 54" mower and tiller.

Both come with 0 category 3 pt. hitch.

They're about the same price... opinions?

Simplicity isn't a big name here in Canada like John Deere, but I've
heard good things about them.

Best regards,

Deere still makes some good equipment. The old Simplicitywas outstanding. The
company was bought by Allis Chalmers and the brand languished for a few years.
With the break -up of the Allis Chamers/ Deutz-Fahr group. Some group boulght
the rights to use the Simplicity brand, I have not seen one made this group so
have no idea as to its quality. Acording to their web site
http://www.simplicitymfg.com/ the new ownership is connected to the original
company. They seem to specialize in high end machines
