Default Greenwood Nursery now sells Quick Shade trees!

Limited Supply - Quick Shade - Advertised in newspapers and magazines
across the country.
Through a special purchase, we are able to offer for sale this season
this nationally advertised fast growing tree species, the Imperial
Carolina Poplar hybrid. On average and under normal conditions, this
tree will grow six feet per year. The Imperial Carolina can be used as
a specimen, or to line a road or drive. You can expect this tree to be
over 20' tall and 15' wide in just three years. It can grow to over
70' tall.

The Imperial Carolina poplar tolerates a wide variety of soil types
and conditions, growing very well on somewhat sandy soils.

The tree is a tall, fast-growing tree shaped somewhat like a pyramid.
It is a hybrid that reaches 50-80 feet in height. Its yellow-gray bark
becomes ridged toward the base of the tree. The wide, smooth leaves
are rounded at the base. Because Imperial is a male hybrid, it does
not produce the cottony seed common to most poplar trees. It tolerates
a wide variety of sites, but does very well on moderately sandy soils.
