Any advice please for mix of plants in totally shaded border.
30 meter x 1 meter border alongside very tall gable end of house. Full shade except for first 6-7 meters which is in sun 'till late morning. Border 'borders' private gravel lane for it's entirity. Has 3 equally spaced 2 meter trellis. needs to look formal & tidy rather than cottagy. New 'loamy' soil going in & will be topped with small gravel. Some colour if possible.
Any guidance apreciated.
