Ms Brown, I am a new gardener and wonder if you could present some ways to exercise the pistil and stamens in my flowers? Or perhaps an aid to Pollination? But perhaps asexual reproduction is best............. so Send in the Clones! mle |

In article om,
says... Ms Brown, I am a new gardener and wonder if you could present some ways to exercise the pistil and stamens in my flowers? Or perhaps an aid to Pollination? Well, when hand-pollinating my courgettes (zucchinis) I like to put on some really twangy, cheesy pr0n-film music on the stereo. And I give them names. The male flower is can be called, "Ron Jeremy," or perhaps "John Holmes." And the female flower is named "Amber," or "Ginger," or something not quite appropriate for a family oriented newsgroup. This helps to give them confidence. But perhaps asexual reproduction is best... I am having some difficulty fitting a broccoli head into my CD burner... -- Get Credit Where Credit Is Due http://www.cardreport.com/ Credit Tools, Reference, and Forum |
