watering gizmos

Has anyone used those Aqua Spikes? The thingys that you put on a 2 liter
plastic bottle and they are supposed to slow drip to water your plants. I
keep thinking that these would make some of my balcony gardening easier for
me IF they work. Would appreciate some feed back, good, bad or otherwise.
