Any Idea what this plant may be?
Well, First post here, and I'm sorry to say, it's a question. I've been reading through the forums for some time, but I don't really consider myself a gardener, just someone who's very interested in plants.
Anyway, quick question, just came across a plant in my Garden, Nestled against a wall, The leaves smell quite strongly of.... Well the best description would be a strong smell of Lime, and then a very "Fresh" smell to it. The leaves are about 10 CM long, curve downwards slightly, and the top surface of them is rather rough. Terribly sorry about the poor image quality, just my luck that the camera's out of batteries, and so I had to use a webcam. The bush itself stands about 4 1/2 feet tall, and has quite a large number of leaves on it. I'm located just outside Dublin,Ireland but perhaps the tree also grows in Britain? All the best -Jacob |
