Isn't it strange how many predictions of the end of the world are made and
the predicted time elapses and then there is a flurry of rationalisation or
dead silence.

Isn't it sad that the contrary ones, that the world is soon going to be a
wonderful place, are just as false but generally cost more money.

Read a bit further on to Matthew 25:13, where it states that no one
knows the day or hour. In the Pentacostal churches in the 1950's, when
I was a boy, everyone knew that the End Times would come in 1960.
Sometime in the mid-60's, that was revised to 1975.
