mini xmas trees need advice
I wanted some advice on xmas trees
i brought 2 last xmas about 10inch tall in little xmas pots i thought if i grow them they would make ideal xmas trees in the future to pop lights on in the garden hehe only prob is do they realy take 20 30 years to grow im not sure if i can wait that long, i think by looking at them they have grown about 1 or 2 inch maybe, any ideas or tips on how to super charge the speed of them growing i dont know a lot when it comes to xmas trees so any advice at all would be greatful indeed i dont know what kind they are since i brought them i took them out of there mini pot and put them in larger pots ,they have been indoors till about march then was in the greenhouse now ive placed them outside many thanks |

Without knowing what species the trees are and anything about your climate and soil any answer will be speculative. It is also possible that if they became very rootbound in small pots they will be set back. No tree will grow well in typical indoor conditions. If the species is suited to your conditions it will do much better in the ground than pots. D |
