I have been given 3 heads of cotton, and wonder how I clean the seed from
the fibre.

I once saw a single boll teased quite well and finally flamed. The singeing
of the seeds did not affect their germination~~I was told.

I can just picture David out there in the field picking cotton and singing
work songs with the rest of his homies down in Mississippi!

"........I can just picture David out there in the field picking cotton and

The nearest we come to Mississippi here in Wales is "Mississippi Mud Pie",
though we do have the singing and somehow I don't see us being major
producers of Cotton.
Much to wet in autumn.
I am still wondering how to clean the fibre off the seed .....I tried cotton
gin....well......... drank the gin but still have the cotton.

out of curiosity, are you intending to keep the seed, the cotton or both?

Well I don't think I'll get very far with 3 heads of cotton, but I would
like to sow the seed .....I suppose I could sow it cotton and all.
