Citrus fruit growth elimination / suppression / retardation.

In a backyard: 2 citrus trees, 1 Tangelo and 1 Lemon
~ 20 years old, each 30+ ft tall, no fertilizer applied ever,
seldom watered, pruned every 2-3 years, but each one
is yielding, year after year, approximately ten (10!) full
35 gallon barrels of huge, juicy tangelos and lemons.

== Problem: Fruits are ready all at one time. Too many!!

== Comments: (1) "Fruit Eliminator", (Cl-Et-PO2Na) does
not mention any effectiveness on nor use for citrus trees
and cautions about leave discoloration. Despite this info,
does anyone have positive ex. with it (1) on citrus trees.
(2) I hate to do annual, manual blossom plucking.

== Request: What can be sprayed onto these blossoms
that will eliminate or at lest diminish this unwanted bounty?

Can I believe my eyes?

HaHaHaHaHanson is asking a bunch of enviro-whiners and green turds how
to do in a fruit tree?

Damn, Hanson. Are you letting a hint of reasonableness leak out
through your otherwise take no prisoners facade? Maybe you are human
after all.

[hanson]
Hey, yo, Richie, the folks who so kindly responded with
(im)material, well meant, advice are neither enviro-whiners
nor green turds. Some may have fallen victim to green
turdry and green shittances and become unwilling/unwitting
enablers and facilitators of enviro turdism.

Richie, I am greener than you think, but a abhor green shits
and enviro turds who use the "environment" only to enrichment
themselves. Inform yourself about these enviro *******s! Then,
**** enviros! Turn off the green $$ spigot Make'em suffer!
ahahaha......ahahahanson

PS: You are right Richie: "take no prisoners": Stamp out green shit!
I will spare you with posting of their green bible......for now....

There are two sure fire ways to solve this problem.

THIN YOUR FRUIT

PLANT OR REPLACE TREES WITH VARIETIES THAT DO NOT
GIVE FRUIT AT THE SAME TIME.

Introduce the Medfly or other similar aggressor.

Call Ag Extension.

Don't prune, take out entire branches at the trunk.

Set fire to the property. Collect insurance. Plant
pot (for medical purposes only).

Donate the crop to a local charity or food bank
(they pick and take).

Send cash for the real answer.

Mark (would strategically-placed horizontal incisions
into the cambium layer retard blossoming -- the
old 1000-cuts party game suitable for all ages?
Try it on some single test branches. Ask this
question at a local fruit tree operation ... if they
do grafting ... ought to know if this'd work :-)

Given the Uncertainty Principle, no. There is no
evidence that Hahahanson actually has said trees.

HaHaHaHaHanson is asking a bunch of enviro-whiners and green turds how
to do in a fruit tree?

Hahahanson, would be the correct nomenclature. And
the question was generally posed, not specific to
"enviro-whiners and green turds".

Damn, Hanson. Are you letting a hint of reasonableness leak out
through your otherwise take no prisoners facade? Maybe you are human

Uh ... no. Hahahanson is a certified ethanol-powered
cyborg, created by deranged technicians at a secret
location in Canada, "Ravenhurst", or something
similar. Contact the Montreal Chamber of Commerce for
directions to the compound.

Besides, what greater challenge to Hahahanson can
be made by a green turd, other than to lead him
to a promised environmentally-friendly method
of, in this case, control of fruit abundance?

Has any such turd responded? Chain-saw love, indeed.

Mark (... bottom-feeding, anyone? Greetings
from Camp Hill, PA. NYC next week! :-)
