the plants this year. Put them where we tell you, so that customers
will see them and buy them and there won't be as many plants to throw
out and in loss."


Sadly this is the trend in large companies. It is the primary reason I
quit my former job managing for a national chain. When customer service,
common sense and long term planning go out the window for short term gain,
everyone suffers, including the company. Lowes may gain a short term blip
in sales but long term sales will decline as customers lose confidence in
the company.
