If it's related to sphagnum, fertilizer will kill it. LOL.

Change the conditions. Moss likes ...

acidic soil
shade
moisture

Remove/reduce two of these three and moss won't grow. Actually moss
growing between blocks is better than having dirt/mud between the
blocks?
