Sapote Dropping Flowers
My Chocolate Sapote tree is dropping its "fruit" before they have even
grown. The flower dies, then the fruit just starts to form and it drops off. Any ideas? I am in Zone 9, sand soil amended with composted mulch. I water the tree about every two weeks right now. Got lots of flowers and then they fall to the ground. What am I doing wrong? What fertilizer should I use? Currently using the one for citrus, avocado and mango. Thanks in advance for any help. By the way, the flowers have a wonderful gardenia aroma. -- gloria - only the iguanas know for sure |

"Travis" expounded:
Did you Google? You know, Travis, it seems you'd rather no one ask a question around here, just rely on Google. Boring. People asking questions make this place interesting. -- Ann, gardening in Zone 6a South of Boston, Massachusetts e-mail address is not checked ****************************** |
