HI All you Ponders

I have 3 small ponds with an assortment of FISH :-)

in one of my ponds I have what I think is a ARROW plant

its leaves have a Arrow shape. and it puts out what looks like a stem
with a what looks like its going to be a blossom (flower) but it never
opens and then sags into the water and decays :-(

is this NORMAL ??

this has been going on for several years, and I have never thought of
asking for info before. . . . . do you have any ideas what is
happening, and what I need to do so it will BLOSSOM ??

I also have what I think is the Pickrel Plant and it has many PURPLE
blossoms most of the time. could it be the Arrow Plant is bashful
and refuses to show its pretty blossoms around the Pickrel plant.
(grinn)

thanks in advance
