Default How to Get Rid of a Home Decor Gift

Well, if the bright pink vase with orange flowers has been lying
around in your basement since Aunt Edna got it for you two (may be
three) years ago, its time to get rid of it. Youve heard of how one
mans trash can be anothers treasure, so spread the love around by
being creative with your home dcor gift.Re-giftHome dcor gifts are
some of the easiest items to re-gift because they are not usually as
tied to fluctuating fashion trends as say clothes or even toys (Not
even a three year old wants last years Elmo!) That said; you still
have to be tactful in re-gifting because home dcor is still something
personal and your bright orange vase may be an eye sore in someones
home that is based on soft neutrals and earth tones.Do not re-gift a
home dcor gift or any other gift for that matter to someone very close
to you as they could ask you where you got it and say they want to
exchange it. Do not give it to someone you like or want to impress,
because your gift reflects on you and of course do not make the
absolute faux pas of re-gifting the piece to the person who gave it to
you in the first place! You can give that home dcor gift to someone
you dont know very well or someone you wont be meeting very often or
very soon. It sounds tacky, but hey, you never know they just might
like it!Re-UseYou may not imagine eating on a plate with chickens and
roosters and wish this home dcor gift came with a gift receipt.
Instead of just chucking it away, re-use the plates as wall art for
your sun room or as serving plates- for what else chicken and eggs!
DonateDonate your home dcor work of art to a thrift store or other
worthy cause and get a tax deduction! Someone may not like it at full
price but may think it will make a fun conversation piece for a buck
or two. EbayThe whole world browses through online auction sites like
eBay so something that may not be the coolest thing in your home dcor
vocabulary, may be wow for someone across the globe. Keep the price
low so that you dont pay much for listing it. Even if it doesnt sell,
it was worth a shot since it was just lying around in the basement
anyway!Easy Home Decor Solution @ http://www.sogreat.biz
