Hi Steve, (cool name)

You need to put weed -n- feed powder down early in the morning when there's
a good dew on. I mean wipe it with your hand first and make sure it's wet.

Also be sure there is -no- rain in the forecast for at least 24 hours after
your treatment.

Brands are a relative question and Scotts plus two is a good homeowner
product. It ain't the cheapest one tho..
