Default Easter Lilly Question

I have an indoor Easter Lilly that we enjoyed over the past month. It
has now stopped blooming, and I was wondering if these things will
survive in the local climate (Wake County, N.C.) if planted outdoors?
If so, do they like full sun, filtered light, shade? Thanks for any
info!
