Masdevallia assortment Mt Beenak X 3
Eric,
These were grown and displayed by Clive Halls, proprietor of Mt Beenak Orchids. His set up is approx one hours' drive to the east of Melbourne, in a bushy area. While in a generally cool zone, he does experience the occasional 40 degree Celsius day and several 35C days. He has a few evaporative coolers (industrial) operating in the hot season to keep the plants below 30C. Most of his mazzies have been bred for more temp tolerance, however. He doesn't bother with high altitude mazzies. Link: http://www.mtbeenakorchids.com.au/ Peter -- ) "Eric Hunt" wrote in message ... Peter, Excellent collection of Masdevallias! Where are these grown?
