Another primary hybrid and this time between Goliath and David!
Epiphronitis Veitchii is a cross of Epidendrum radicans, the huge
tropical weed, and sophronitis coccinea, a cool growing miniature. The
result is a small but untidy reed stem Epidendrum with nicely shaped and
brilliantly coloured flowers.
