It probably has nothing to do with you, and deleting messages isn't really
doing that at all. The messages reside on the server and you don't have
permission to delete them...all you're doing is making the headers disappear
from your machine.

I suspect the problem is with the news provider, so you might want to search
out a tech support number or email and ask for help.
