Interactive Flora of the British Isles
Interactive Flora of the British Isles
Clive Stace, R. van der Meijden (Ed.), I.de Kort (Ed.) ....a ground-breaking identification tool that has such huge educational potential. ......the DVD is not just for the more experienced botanist. It is a very useful 'way in' for those who are new to using Stace - the colour photographs and clear layout making it so much more beginner-friendly that the rather scary book version! ......those teaching beginners plant identification courses could include a demonstration of the DVD. Hopefully, younger people (particularly university ecology students!) may be attracted to the idea of using interactive computer keys as it sounds a bit more fun than the usual on-paper keying out process.
