Carbon dioxide comprises only about 0.03% of the atmosphere, and an
increase of 10% adds not much at all. Not much at all when you look
at another greenhouse gas, water vapor, which is generally 4-5% of
the atmosphere, fluctuates on a seasonal and daily basis and nobody
is worried about. As far as trees are concerned, only about 20% of
photosynthesis occurs on land, the ocean is a much more important
site for photosynthesis.

This the type of balanced view that I appreciate. OK cutting down trees
will not help, but will not more CO2 promote more vigorous vegetative
growth? The bigger threat seems to be warmer seas killing off the organisms
there that photosynthesise.
