Default Is Evolution Cosmic Ontogeny?

Has science been sidetracked into the blind alley of evolution from a simple
beginning? Is it possible that what is seen as cosmic and biological
evolution from simple beginnings is in fact cosmic ontogeny or development
from the seed of the universe? See
