Default even yet another ID

Greetings.

I'm curious as to whether anyone knows what type of succulent my little
friend is:

http://andyrew.info/images/unknown_a.jpg
http://andyrew.info/images/unknown_b.jpg
http://andyrew.info/images/unknown_detail.jpg

It's been in a 5" clay pot since before I first got it (4 years ago), and
is pretty healthy . . . never seen a bloom, though.

thx

Its a badly grown Euphorbia decaryi var. spirosticha Rauh & Hebding.

http://images.google.com/images?q=Eu...=Google+Search

The leaves and branches are a bit etiolated because it isn't getting enough
light.

I was unable to reach any of the three URL's--they come up to an add
for casino gambling and whatnot, then switch to a 400 error--bad
request/do not repeat.

Nonsense. The links work just fine.

Don't worry Monique, you wouldn't know what the plant is anyway!!!!

If you were paying attention in the first place, you would have seen I
already identified it for AH.

Sounds like your computer is infested with a browser hijacker to me,
get Spybot Search & Destroy, and/or Ad-aware and run them.

Ah, but I've managed to keep it alive for these past four years!

Appreciate the ID (Thank You)--the first step in tring to take better care
of it.

Alas, I don't have the slightest idea what to do now....

Aye; W-opening /small/ window exposure only, here--best I can do ;/

First tell under which conditions you are growing it. If you are growing it
in the window, what time of the day does it receive light? How often do you
water it? What are you using for fertilizer?

Still in the 4" clay pot in which I purchased it.

On shelf of small window facing due West.

It gets full sun (on one side) for about 3 hours each day (given proper
weather)--I turn it 180deg every so often.

I water it with room temp. spring water on an infrequent, random schedule (when
it's partner--prickly pear, in the pot next to it--becomes wrinkled, that's when
I water both).

Tried using Follet's "Watch Us Grow" (8-8-8, http://www.watchusgrow.com/ )
during the initial stages, but the 'original' partner cactus I got with the
euphorbia died a quick death, and the euphorbia lost all its foliage except
three 'leaves'.

Been using just water since . . . ;/

Apart from being able to keep it alive, I know nothing--even how (or if) to
transplant it.

Should I foster-home it? g
