Default snails

I have been posting and reading in the goldfish news group about snails.
and it seems as if some posters feel that snails are danggerious to
their goldfish. Basically buying plants and the snails on the plants
having diseases. what my question here is, how many people here have had
a fish get sick or die due to a snail?

I have a question about ponds and apple snails. Does you apple Snails
crawl out of the pond? If they do. do they find thier way back? I have
apple snails in tanks and they will crawl out if they can.

The Apple snails in my pond only seem to crawl out of the water to lay eggs.
Which for them in every week
