Default Pond fun

We visited the public gardens in New Iberia,
LA. Big loverly property attached to the Tabasco
Company as I recall. They allowed dogs so we
took our yellow lab with us.
They had a big natural pond on the property
with a raised platform for viewing all the fast
food out there - egrets. There was this big
old alligator in the pond. We spotted him and
then didn't pay any more attention to him - until
we noticed that he had siddled, or whatever alligators
do when they are being sneaky, right up under
us and seemed to have a keen interest in our
dog...

k :-)
