Default Lily retrieval

Just lucky I guess.

I have had to repot every year for the past 4 years straight. I started
out doing it every other year and then it happened. If I left the lilies go
and do it the second year they had less blooming and were literally crawling
out of their pots. One year, my white lily had a stock that was 2 and 1/2
feet long out of the pot covered with roots that were growing in the stuff
on the bottom. I did get that one a larger pot, but it still is very
vigorous and virtually needs repotting almost every year. I will have to
check and see what the situation will be for this year.

I will be trying lilies planting them in pea gravel this year to see how it
works for me in my climate and my pond environment.

Why do you repot your lilies each year?
