Default Just Checkin' In

Hey all...I know I've been remiss in my rec.ponds responsibilities...so I
wanted to drop in and say hello to anyone that remembers me.

IHeartMyPond.com is still up and running, but has not been updated too much
lately. I've been busy with a new job, some side projects, and a silly fun
site, my buddy asked me to code for him, http://www.human8ball.com. Anyway,
back to work for me....

Miss you all...be back soon I hope.

BV aka Jeff in MD.

I guess the old adage about feeding trolls is true eh?

I hope to be back more often, very soon.

I'm glad that www.iheartmypond.com was able to help you. I hope to get it
more up to date soon. Right now, we are battling a PHP problem with our
forums. I think I may ditch it for new software soon.

Jim...thanks for the kind words. The plants are growing like crazy. I have
not even had the VF activated this year, the pond is going like gangbusters.
We've got lots of little snails, but it seems the big ones either stay low
or have vanished.

I am sure our crew of Bullfrogs doesn't help.

Good to see you back. I don't post much but
I am around.

Found a small goldfish in my in-ground "natural"
pond! I think when I moved some minnows there
a year or so ago I accidentally moved a goldfish
fry. No filtration, but a ton of plants and it seems
to be doing fine.

Hi BV,

The big snails can't handle the winter cold, so renewal annually will be
needed. I put an egg case over an aquarium in the fall. The pinhed
sized hatchlings are up to 1 1/2" by spring. The are laying lots of
eggs just now.

Nice that your pond works without the VF. Ours have thrived this year.
