Default Foound some cheap treats the GF and koi really enjoy

Its NORI, or dried seaweed / algae....I use it in my marine tanks, and
started to play with it in my fw tanks, and found that my plecostemus
just love it as well as the flying fox and chinese and indian algae
eaters........and some others as well.........certainly much cheaper
and has just as much protein and good stuff in it as store bought
algae wafers according to label anyhow.........so I decided to see if
my koi and GF would eat it....and they love it.......I use a huge
plastic clip thats used to close up plastic bags etc, after they are
opened, and have it attached to a piece of PVC pipe. I clip a few
sheets of the stuff in the clip and place it in the water and its a
mad house.....with them going after it. YOu would think that with them
in a natural pond with lots to eat they would not bother with it, but
they love it. I pay 97 cents for 20 sheets about 10 x 12 inches at
the local Asian Food store........I think it would be perfect cold
weather feed or supplement for them or a treat at any time......
