Default koi treats

what treats do you give your koi? i have tried prawns and brown bread but
was wondering what else i could try.
I have 11 koi to 12" living in a 3500gallon pond.

I have gave mine watermelon, cheerios, bloodworms, cocktail shrimps,
oranges, zucchini, greenpeas.
Hummm can't think of nothing else at the moment.

Canned corn kernels are supposed to be bad for trout/char/salmon. Koi
and GF as well?

The first time I ever fished for trout we used canned corn for bait.
Worked very well. Of course, you can catch a lot of humans with sugar
too.

It's illegal some places, and the reason given is that it blocks the
intestines and kills the fish. So far as I know, the trout, etc, are
mostly carnivores, while the carp are more omnivorous.
