I put on two digital photos of the 2 feet of snow. The first at
http://userpages.umbc.edu/~rrhudy1/huge1.jpg shows the 1800 gallon pond.
The waterfall would normally be visible from that view point but it is
running under the snow. Today, it opened up a bit more but you can't see
if from inside due to the snow drifts. The fake heron is about 3 feet
high for comparison. You can't tell but I've dug out the top of the
filter and covered it with a large green tub lid do keep the water
underneath from freezing from the constant snow. It's stopped snowing now
but there are cracks in the ceiling that weren't there yesterday. The
snow depth has gone down as it melts into itself and becomes heavier. The
second photo at http://userpages.umbc.edu/~rrhudy1/huge2.jpg looks out the
back sliding door. My cat, Gino, is at the bottom left of the door (in
the dark so hard to see). I cleared the porch and put bird seed there.
You can see the wall of snow at the edge of the porch. The porch has
about a 8 inch drop off there so it's actually deeper than it looks.
