Default Do rats eat tadpoles and baby toads?

Yes, i know the baby toads may have left, but there were far more tads
than toads and now i see zero. I suppose they could have ended up bird
food, but i found a rat dead and tangled in anacharis and
primrose.....and zero tads or toadlets.

I think conventional wisdom states that it is
more what rats 'don't' eat as to what they
'do' eat. The 'do' list is up in the thousands and
the 'don't' list currently has no entries.

Also aquatic insects take their fair share of
taddies and infant fish.
