Default Apology Accepted ... for what?

For crying out loud you two, now a lot of people are "getting a hair
up" over your off topic duel. So "lighten up" or take it off line
please. That's why they made email, so two people can **** on each
other's feet and not get everyone else wet.

And yes I did misinterpret your Cheers. The way it was cut and pasted it
felt like a blowoff.... note felt... subjective not objective which is what
I was trying to get across earlier when I said the way we were interpreting
what was being said was a problem.

Gey gezuntgeheit is Yiddish (also German)- meaning go in good health but
that isn't enough... it is hard to translate.... kinda means we have done
enough of this (which we apparently hadn't if we were both still
misinterpreting each other). DK

It wasn't a cheer directed at you. It was a good answer, imo, for anyone
who might be wondering what is going on without it being all dredged up
again and explained. Especially for an OT thread.

Apparently I'm not sufficiently articulate if you continue to think I'm

trying to pick a fight

and it sure seems that this is what you are doing.

I never would have gotten into this if the degatory comment "to lighten

up"

hadn't been said.

I wouldn't have continued the next time, if there hadn't been a personal
attack saying, *I must have a wild hair.... *

So who wanted to start a fight? Not me. I just don't like to be told what
to do, by someone who has no power over me, nor will I tolerate an attack
on my person. Note, I only asked you to take your own advice, and wondered
if what you thought was my problem was really yours. Don't sling mud and
expect not to get it back at ya. ~ jan

Poor Sully, feeling left out? You should have left it alone too, rather
than being a self-appointed spokesperson for "a lot of people".

My apologies to the group, and a thank you for letting Dkat & I carry on
without taking sides. ~ jan

Actually I thought that we had resolved it and made a point which is that in
this media it is REALLY easy to attribute intent to what has been said that
was never there. I had absolutely no intent of being critical. I was
simply musing how what had once seemed a perfect room to me seemed to be
getting a little tense and that it would be nice to go back to the once more
light feeling of the room. I meant lighten up in the literal sense - not
the cutting sense. I thought Jan was telling me to get lost when that was
not her intent. I got two issues that were critical to me resolved and am
happy about it.

So why exactly are you reading this particular thread if it annoys you? It
seems there is way too much to read in here to waste your time with things
you are not interested in.

Guys guys (I call girls guys OK ?) ...

There was an online misunderstanding, probably already settled. No use in
us all chiming in and having our say ("so Theo, WTH are you doing then here
;-) )

Let's not take this too far, we should PORG not PLONK.

Yes, days ago. I think DKat & I came to the conclusion we're both confused.
