Retrun from vaction surprises
Hello ponders,
I've been lurking here for some time; I thought I'd share what I found on return from 3 weeks vacation. I have a tiny 35? gallon preform pond with two goldfish. There's an upper reservoir with a 3 foot or so stream leading down to the preform. I have a lilly with about 10 pads, but no blossoms because it's shady, and some marginal plants. I discovered today: one frog, about 2" long, not sure if it's a green frog or a bull frog two or three or more? baby fish two or three flowers on the anacharis in the upper reservoir Happy ponding, -- Bob Mills |

Retrun from vaction surprises
Hi Bob! What a neat discovery! You can tell bullfrogs from greenfrogs by looking at the fold of skin that starts at their eyes. A greenfrog's fold will go down its back. A bullfrog's fold will curve around the eardrum. k30a and the watergardening labradors http://www.geocities.com/watergarden...dors/home.html |
