Default Algae Problem

I have a 15ft stream running to my pond. The stream is only 2 or 3 inches
deep.

The pond feeds though a UV unit to a biological filtration unit then into
the stream.

Any ideas as to how to control the build up of algae/blanket weed in the
stream.

Thanks
