Default New free water plant

This evening I noticed on my water fall rocks something that was making the
waterfall bounce up before flowing over. Figuring it was just the usual
algae I pulled off a clump. It wasn't algae but something that is almost
fern or moss like, very cool looking, dark green, with a root structure. I
put it on another rock with less water movement over it. I don't know if it
will survive there, since it was growing right in the direct flow/force.
Never seen it before. Anyone else? ~ jan
