The fish came up for aswim
In mid January the goldfish (not the koi) came up for a swim for a couple
of days and they have grown. I thought they more or less hibernated during the Winter. Have they been eating algae? |

Depending on the water temperature, as that governs their activity (colder - slower, warmer - more active), fish will nibble at substrate algae, find worms, aquatic insects, zoo plankton and other natural goodies in the pond. kathy |
